The Thing sketch

Just a quick sketch of the blue eyed rocky Fantastic Four member.

i understand why marvel chose to get rid of all the smoking in their comics, but damn.. a cigar just adds so much personality!

on a side note about the FF movie coming out: i was a little dissapointed at the fact that they're using a rubber costume for the thing.. i was really hoping that they would go the cg route because the way i see it.. when the thing moves and bends his limbs there should be bits of rock chipping off him constantly from the rock plates rubbing against eachother and like a finger nail, it just kinda grows back. it's just something that i think only cg could pull off. i'm not entirely sure how the suit in the movie will move.. but i i hope you don't see the rocks "flex" and "bend" it would really ruin the effect of the thing for me.
