Wolverine aka Logan by NgBoy Wolverine aka Logan by NgBoy
done in pencil with very slight highlights on photoshop

when i first saw the X-men movie it took a whil to get used to the claws coming out between the knuckles. But the more i thought about it, the more it made sense.. now it looks odd to me when i see the claws coming out of the top of the hand.

wow..ur anatomy is top notch, either you took many hours of figure drawing, or somthing :P, conveys his personality as well, which i find alot of artists forget when they draw, that the chraters have personalitys, and i got it, i'm watching you...well "we're" watching you

:D Looks great, I love the sketchiness of it, especially the big difference in the amount of detail between the different parts.

The highlights really add to the piece and give it some great detail. The more art I see from you, the more I like your style. The way you draw hands is just amazing.

WOW.. I love the way this pic has this feeling of "weight." I don't know how... but it does... lol : D And it's a great picture of Logan... ...mmmmmmmm.... I love the hands and face (and how the eyes are somewhat obscured). : 3 You're excellent with clothing--his jeans and jacket really look like they're made of different materials. AND I can lick the screen!!! Mmmmmmm... Loooogaaannn....

i love your rougher sketchy pieces like this (like all the earlier energon sketches you did about a year or so ago). the detail and anatomy are great... and i love his posture... the whole sorta "i don't give a damn" look works really well with wolverine (particularly when he's not in uniform). inspiring, joe! ^_^

Fro a moment there I thought the highlights were done in white chalk, then smeared a little. Photoshop is definitely a much cleaner method, you don't have to worry about chalk residue all over your hands. Nice sketch.

I luv it!! It does make more sense coming out between the knuckles. If I had claws coming out the top of my hand it would feel like it would break off when I slash something.
