this was an ad i did for the new comic Rush City which features the pontiac solstice as the main vehicle that rush drives.

no i'm not drawing the actual comic, and some of you might be wondering why i'm doing the ad then. well i was actually considered, but never got the job in the end. so anyways, some of you might have seen this ad in a few dc comics as well as maxim magazine. it was actually fun to draw.

I actually have this ad in a few of the comics I've bought, and thought "Hey, that looks AWESOME, the art looks fantastic". But DC kinda shot themselves in the foot by not having you draw it.

The woman's face does look a little...strong, too detailed maybe, and her eyes look like she's a little nutty.

The guy's pose feels a little on the feminine side to me, the way his lower body's posed.

But I'm loving all the detail and the action, especially the work with the car and the guns. It's all good, just some minor things turn me off a bit. All my opinion, of course, and no offense intended.
