I recently stumbled upon this on tumblr and it's been circling around all my social networks. I find it really important to pass this on to all artists AND people who commission artwork. I see this way too often here and at conventions. Artists don't realize that they're affecting the overall view of how art should be priced by selling it for so low, and clients are basically paying these artists less than minimum wage for art that they think they're getting a "deal" on. To all artists and commissioners, think before setting on your prices. Is it really worth the artists time to pay them $20 for 6 hours of work?

SDCC 2012 *Updated*
So San Diego Comicon is upon us again and as usual I'll be there with the Udon Crew booth! I normally don't do this but for some reason this year i've been getting a lot of notes from people asking me for commissions in advance. So here's the opportunity to do so!. I already have a bit of a growing list and only a few spots left available for the full body commissions. I'm accepting smaller head shot commissions as well as smaller bust commissions at the convention but since the full body ones take up so much time, i'll only have room for a certain amount. Oh god! Youre right.. And Ive noticed that when I charge a equal price to my work. Nobody wants to work with me because Im too "expensive" .. Here on DA are lot of very cheap artist..
